Up down Up down and finally UP
$0.50/$1 NL
Todays session got off to a decent start, i was actually down $30 right into the session which is just normal, but not for long. Guy open min raises from the CO (cut off) seat, the button calls, the small blind calls and im in the big blind with 66, so i make the call. Flop comes AK6 with 2 diamonds, small blind checks, i bet out, the preflop raiser re raises me up, both guys fold and I go ahead and stick it in, putting him on AK, and hoping he dont have AA OR KK. Money goes in and he turns over AK, my hand was able to hold up. From there, i faced alot of resistance with short stacks, i would raise they would go ahead and ship it in, this happen to me atleast 10-20 times during this session of about 1,100 hands. I got the money in good 75 % of the time but only won around 40 % - 50 % of those hands which is very frustrating. Thats how poker is sometimes, i got the money in good the majority of the time, and theres nothing else i can do. I felt like i played really well this session, ups and downs were crazy but after the session was over i ended up a little over half a buy in. Here are a few hands played during the session.
