Poker Beginning

Ultimate Bet name is -Treble Hook-
Poker Stars name is That 06 on 20s

I've been playing poker for probably 2-3 years, and have been trying to get better and better. I basically learned to play poker better over the past year or so. I purchased a truck, and dropped alot of money i had saved up for a down payment, and i quit playing for a year or so, then on December 5th, 2006 my best friend Tyler (TpayneWins, - Ship It-, So Fkn Standard) came over to the house to chill, i had him send me $30 on stars, that night i happen to run the $30 up to $60, so i sent his $30 back and had $30 to work with. A few days later i started setting at $0.05/$0.10 NL short handed cash games, and just hoped for the best. At one of the tables i ran really good, and was able to get a a little over 13 + buy ins at the table(theres a pic) for this limit ($134). And thats how the bankroll got started, i grinded $0.05/$0.10 NL for a while, until i had 25 buy ins for the next limit ($0.10/$0.25 NL), because i wanted to play with a somewhat stable bankroll for the limit i was playing. So then i had around $650.00 to work with, and decided to keep playing stars, and i was able to work up to around $800, so i won like 6 buy ins. Tyler started to play on ultimate bet, and got rakeback set up, which was a huge plus +, he helped me get rakeback set up, which was a bitc* , so UB became my new home. I continued playing $0.10/$0.25 NL short handed cash games there until i had 25 buy ins for the next limit ( $0.25/$0.50). At this point i have worked the $30 loan up to $1250 and i took a shot at the new limit. I crushed this limit in one month and had a $2,500 roll to play $0.50/$1 NL, this is basically where i learned the true meaning of variance. The month i played this stake, i lost around $1300 or so, and i decided that i needed to play with good bankroll management, and go back to the limit i had just left. When i lost the $1,300, i would say 95 % of the plays i made were good, i ran terrible, and thats just how it goes sometime. I was able to regain the losses again at $0.25/$0.50 NL and was ready to take another shot at $0.50/$1 NL. I've been playing $0.50/$1 NL now for about 1.5/2 months or so, and the roll is currently a little over $4,000. Im playing the best poker/most solid poker i've ever played, and im expanding my knowledge by picking up little things here and there, and cant get enough ! Im loving the game, and play everyday, i may take a day off here and there but not many. Started out with a $30 loan from best friend, and now have over $4,000, never would have imagined anything like this, and im trying to take it to $1/$2 NL, i need $1,000 more and from here on i'll let u know how thats goin. Long post, thanks for reading !

P.S. I have to give all credit to Tyler, if it wasn't for him, i would not have the understanding of the game i have now, and he's talked over hands with me that i've had problems with, y0ur aws0me bud ! Thanks !
